Prime the cache in W3 Total Cache with a sitemap from Yoast SEO

A site that is under regular update and refining is required to flush the cache regularly. The first person visiting your site after flushing will get the un-cashed and slow website generated from MySQL and PHP instead from the Amazon ElastiCache server.

Expired cache
The cash has a lifecycle and expires. The first person visiting your site after the cache has expired could also get the slow not yet cached version of your site.

By priming the cache in beforehand, this problem is reduced or removed.

XML-compliant sitemap
To pre-fill the Amazon ElastiCache server cache your site depends on, you would need the standard XML-compliant sitemap intended for Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, and Yandex Webmaster Tools.

Just paste the URL to the sitemap in the “Page” section in W3 Total Cache setting, activate the check boxes, flush cache, and your cache in Amazon ElastiCache server will start to fill with your content.

Yoast SEO
The Yoast SEO plugin generates a sitemap that works. Any sitemap that follows the defined standard will do.
